If you’re like me, there’s nothing better than spending your vacation sitting on the beach and just relaxing! I am happiest with a cocktail and a good book, or just simply watching the waves come in. But if you have small children, it is sometimes harder to relax on the beach. Of course you want to spend time with your children, but sometimes it’s nice to just get some grown-up time too. You also want your children to have fun and enjoy their vacation too.
Disney’s Aulani resort in Hawaii is the perfect solution for your next family vacation! Your entire family can enjoy the pool areas, the amazing restaurants, and the beach. But make sure your children spend some time at Aunty’s Beach House while you are there. This is an amazing space just for kids! There is so much to do! The pictures below only show part of this amazing space. There is an area for arts and crafts, games, computer time, video games, outside play and more! And your children will be having fun while they are well taken care of by Aunty’s staff. If you’re famliar with the Disney Cruise Line, Aunty’s Beach House reminded me a bit of the Oceaneer’s Lab on the ships, but it is even bigger! When I was there, I saw a long line of kids and their parents impatiently waiting for Aunty’s to open for the day. The kids couldn’t wait to go in and start having fun! If you’re concerned about safety at Aunty’s, don’t be! You will check your children into Aunty’s and they will receive a bracelet similar to your magic band in Walt Disney World. This bracelet is activated when your child enters Aunty’s and deactivated only when the child leaves with a parent. And parents will set up a password with the staff when you first drop off your child. Only someone that knows that password and has a room key will be able to pick up your child. You and your child can be confident that they will be safely having fun! Be sure to check out Aunty’s Beach House on our next visit to Aulani! I know your children will love it, and you will probably have a hard time getting them to leave to hang out with mom and dad! |
