If you’re looking for a fabulous adult-only all-inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic, Secrets Cap Cana could be the perfect solution!
Secrets resorts are adult-only resorts all over the Caribbean. There are resorts in Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and St. Martin. These resorts offer a luxury all-inclusive experience, with spacious rooms, delicious dining, and a wonderful space to relax and get away.
Secrets Cap Cana is in the exclusive gated community of Cap Cana in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. This resort offers 457 suites on an amazing white sand beach. The resort is just a short ride from the Punta Cana International Airport. And once you’re there, you won’t want to leave! Our Junior Suite was large, with a king size bed, a large bathroom, and a minibar with drinks and water that was refreshed daily.
This resort offers rooms in their Preferred Club as well. The Preferred Club offers guests extra amenities and services, including:
- Personalized check-in and check-out
- Preferred Club lounge, with snacks and cocktails daily
- A private, Preferred Club pool
- A private, Preferred Club beach area
- One restaurant open for breakfast daily only for Preferred Club guests
- And more!
- The Preferred Club buildings also had the premium location, closer to the beach.
This resort offers eight restaurants, seven of which are a la carte. Because we went early in 2022 when Covid was still an issue, we did need to make reservations at the a la carte restaurants, but that wasn’t an issue. We tried as many restaurants as we could during our stay, and we loved them all! My favorite was the Portofino Italian restaurant. The other options at Secrets Cap Cana include Bordeaux, for French dining, Himitsu, for Pan-Asian options, Oceana for delicious seafood, and more!
Secrets Cap Cana also offers plenty of activities to keep you occupied during your stay. There was beach volleyball, kayaking, windsurfing, Hobie cat boats, all included in your stay. They also offered entertainment each night. We really enjoyed the entertainment. It was a great way to end each night of our stay.
Of course, we spent most of our days at the beach and by the pool. We never had an issue finding chairs on the beach, and I appreciated the fact that there was plenty of shade for those of us that don’t want to get sunburned. The large pool stretched from the lobby all the way down to the beach. It was more popular than the beach, but we could always find a chair to lounge there too. They offered fun games at the pool daily, or you could just relax and unwind.
We booked two excursions on this trip, and they were both a lot of fun. The first was a 4X4 Adventure with Chocolate and Coffee Tasting. It was so interesting to hear how chocolate and coffee are made in the Dominican Republic, complete with a donkey to churn the coffee! Our second excursion was a semi-private catamaran cruise, which turned out to be a private cruise! We were the only ones on the boat, and we loved it! The snorkeling was good here, and we saw a lot of fish. After snorkeling, we had time to just relax with drinks and fresh fruit on the boat. This was definitely one of the highlights for me!
If you are looking for a quality, luxury, adult-only resort, I highly recommend the Secrets resorts, and Secrets Cap Cana especially. The beach was just beautiful, the rooms were so comfortable, and the staff really made us feel at home. I can’t wait to go back!
