If you are looking for a great cruise ship for the entire family, take a look at Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas. This ship has something for everyone, and it’s a great option for your next cruise.
Symphony of the Seas is in the Oasis class of ships, like Harmony of the Seas, Allure of the Seas and others. Symphony of the Seas offers 2700 staterooms on 18 decks and can hold up to 5580 passengers. This ship has so many staterooms to choose from, from the Crown Loft Suite to an Interior room. If you’re looking for a fabulous room for the entire family, look at the Ultimate Family Suite, which has two stories of fun, complete with an in-suite slide to get from the top floor to the bottom. Parents have their own master suite, but the kid’s area is the highpoint, with an air hockey table and table tennis on your balcony.
If you like a wide variety of dining options, then you’re in the right place! Symphony of the Seas offers up to 20 dining options. You can dine in one of the main dining rooms each night, or for something different, try Chops Grille for a mouth-watering steak! For lunch, you need to try El Loco Fresh for fabulous Mexican fare.
You will enjoy your days at sea on Symphony of the Seas with so many activities onboard. Enjoy carnival games at the Boardwalk Arcade, splash your days away at the Splashaway Bay water park, or relax in the Solarium, the adults-only retreat. This ship also offers two FlowRider areas to get your surf on, two rock walls, zip-lining, an ice-skating rink, mini golf andmore! And the kids will love all the activities in the Adventure Ocean Youth Program. Symphony of the Seas also has the best options for shopping onboard in the Central Park area for jewelry, apparel, perfumes, as well as shops just for the kids!
In the evenings, there are so many things to do! Try your luck in the casino, listen to live music throughout the ship, try a drink from the Bionic Bar, where a robot creates your drink, or sing your heart out at karaoke. But make sure you attend the nightly shows onboard too! There is an amazing ice show (how do they do those jumps on a moving ship??), and you must see the HIRO show at the AquaTheater. It is an incredible water show with high-flying feats, stunts and acrobatics!
The Symphony of the Seas offers 7-night sailings to the Eastern and Western Caribbean out of Miami. In our 7 days onboard, we didn’t get to see and do it all, so we will definitely have to sail again!
